On behalf of the American Cancer Society, thank you for your participation in the 8th annual Pink Ribbon Tennis Tournament.  

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this year’s event will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011.  It is a round-robin tennis mixer that will include both men and women and will be played on various courts within the Valley.  Afterward, all players will gather at Roanoke Country Club for a luncheon and auction where we are expecting approximately 175 participants.  This event is a fun-filled day for men and women with the ultimate purpose of raising money for breast cancer research and patient support  programs.

For the first time ever we will also be holding a USTA Level 4 sanctioned Junior Tennis Tournament on October 15-16 hosted by Hollins University.  The Women's Tennis Team is donating their time and womanpower to ACS as their service learning project this year and we would like extend a huge thank you to Hollins University for their generosity.  Registration for the event will be at www.virginiatennis.com and the tournament is named Pink Ribbon Junior Tournament.
